Law firm Maples Group it expanding its global tax practice with the hiring of Jean-Dominique Morelli as a tax partner in its Luxembourg office.
The number of tax cases is growing, the company said, and Morelli will work with the group's tax disputes practice which combines dispute resolution and insolvency, and tax practices.
Morelli, formerly a partner at another Luxembourg law firm, has over 15 years of experience in international corporate taxation matters with a focus on contentious tax matters, investment funds, cross-border transactions, M&A, project finance, structured finance, securitisations, corporate restructuring, local real estate deals and intellectual property.
The Maples Group is an international law firm advising financial, institutional, business and private clients on the laws of the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Ireland, Jersey and Luxembourg.
