Ever fancied donning a kilt and having a wee go at Scottish dancing? Well now you can as a new season of Scottish dancing lessons in Luxembourg starts on September 15.
Although of course the dancing hails from Scotland and the lessons are in English, both the atmosphere and those who attend the lessons are very much multinational with people from all walks of life. In fact the organisation,Luxembourg Scottish Country Dance Club, boasts students of more than 10 nationalities.
The lessons are fun sociable, good exercise, and there is no need to have a partner, or a kilt for that matter.
The lessons will take place every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm and for those a little more advanced, they run from 8.30pm to 10pm.
Surprising, attending the lessons is free, but if you decide to become a member of the club it only costs about 30 euros per year.
Location
All lessons take place in Luxembourg at the Pre-school building, 10 rue Noppeney, 2231 Kirchberg with parking on rue Palgen near the entrance.
