(CS) Luxembourg mayor Lydie Polfer on Friday afternoon officially opened the Schueberfouer, with the traditional "Hämmelsmarsch" seeing a small flock of sheep herded around the funfair.
The "Hämmelsmarsch", or mutton march, is a song played by a brass band to open the Fouer. In earlier days of the fair, you could win sheep in some of the games and the fairground people wanted to advertise the prizes to be won.
