The number of people out of work in Luxembourg fell from May to June, meanwhile the unemployment rate remained stable at 6.9 percent.
According to new figures, the total number of jobseekers fell from 17,229 in May to 16,833 people at the end of June.
The figures are promising because they also show jobseeker numbers fell by 532 over the course of a year (3.1 percent compared with June 2014).
In June 2015, 1,661 people were registered with job centre ADEM. Of that number, almost a third (566) were first-time registrations.
The number of people receiving full unemployment benefits fell from 6,893 the month before to 6,713 in June.
Meanwhile, the number of people registered as receiving an employment measure rose to 5,581, marking a 11.2 percent rise over a year.
Employers recorded 2,664 vacant posts with the ADEM, up 32 percent on the same period the year before.
