A man was robbed and thrown to the ground suffering minor cuts and bruises late Thursday afternoon and police are now appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened at about 4.50pm in Place des Martyrs, in Luxembourg City.
One offender grabbed the victim while another ransacked his pockets stealing his wallet and brand new mobile phone – a Samsung Galaxy S6 Gold.
Before fleeing the scene the thieves violently pushed the victim to the ground injuring him on his arms and knees.
One of the suspects is described as black, about 1.85 metres tall with a slight beard.
The other, according to the police report is thought to be of “southern European” origin, about 1.75 metres tall, wore jeans, and had noticeable stubble on his face.
