The public can be in the know about Kirchberg's three biggest transport developments by visiting an interactive exhibition which goes lives on Wednesday.
One of the longest tactile screens in Europe has been installed in "Place de l'Europe" on the Kirchberg plateau, where visitors can find information about the tramway, the Red Bridge and the Funicular and train station in Pfaffenthal at the touch of a screen.
The screen is housed in the new Go Tram building located between the Philharmonie and European Parliament tower.
The screen provides a wall of information in English, as well as French and German, and groups themes by colour.
Blue corresponds to the future Tram and Storage and Maintenance Centre (CRM), for which work will begin in September. Red content will be about the Red Bridge, which is to be restored starting in a few weeks in order to accommodate the new tram for 2017.
Information about the construction of the new CFL train station "Kirchberg Pfaffenthal" and funicular beneath the red bridge can be found in the red section.
Meanwhile, content relating to sustainable mobility in Kirchberg can be found in yellow.
The exhibition will be updated as each development progresses and it is accessible to all ages featuring as it does interactive activities and games.
It is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 noon to 7pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 2pm and Saturdays from 11am to 6pm.
The exhibition will remain in "Place de l'Europe" for three years.
