Five people were injured when two cars collided on a road between Bettembourg and Abweiler, in the south of Luxembourg on Saturday afternoon.

Five people were injured, of which three suffered serious injuries, when two cars collided on a road between Bettembourg and Abweiler, in the south of Luxembourg on Saturday.
According to police, a car containing four people veered into oncoming traffic caused the crash at around 3.15pm. A rescue helicopter was at the scene.
Another accident earlier in the day at noon on the CR 186 by Kockelscheuer where a truck driver lost control in a curve. The truck fell on the side. The driver was slightly injured. The road was temporarily closed for the rescue operation.
