United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is to come to Luxembourg on Monday ahead of Luxembourg's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is to come to Luxembourg on Monday ahead of Luxembourg's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Ban Ki-moon will be received by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel for talks at the “Hôtel de Bourgogne” in Luxembourg City, before attending a working lunch with EU Foreign Ministers and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.
Meetings have been scheduled with Luxembourg's Foreign Affairs Minister, Jean Asselborn, the Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Romain Schneider and Environment Minister Carole Dieschbourg.
The subjects discussed will focus on bilateral relations between Luxembourg and the United Nations as well as the priorities of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half 2015.
The main issues of European and international politics will also be discussed during the various interviews.
Mr Ki-moon's visit won't be purely consumed by political talks. During the day, Ban Ki-moon will be received in audience by His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri at the Grand Ducal Palace.
