Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Charlotte met three award-winning designers at Villeroy & Boch's Septfontaines castle on Monday.
Anne Kieffer, Trixi Weis and Christophe de la Fontaine were the proud winners of the "Design Challenge" organised by Villeroy & Boch and Luxinnovation.
The Grand-Ducal couple was shown the three winning designs, which bear the seal of the Grand Duchess.
The three designs were: "Écrin Vieux Luxembourg”, by Anne Kieffer representing the four most important places and symbols of Luxembourg, "Cassette Müllerthal la féérique", by Trixi Weis, and "Cafetière Vieux Luxemburg en mouvement”, by Christophe de la Fontaine.
All were manufactured in Villeroy & Boch's factory workshop in Rollingergrund, using traditional craftsmanship methods.
100 copies of each design will be produced and sold online and at different Villeroy & Boch outlets.
