Bus users in the capital should expect some changes in their journey on Monday when a new network is rolled out.
The timetable and routes have been changed because of the closure of Hamilius station for redevelopment.
Among the many changes, buses will have new terminuses in the capital and four new lines will be introduced to the capital's existing network.
New bus lines
The new routes include line 28 from the central station via Bertrange to the European School II in Mamer, 29 Park and Ride Howald to the Cargo Center, 30 Limpertsberg to Hesperange and 31 running between Howald and Reckenthal.
Lines 17 and 24 will not change but others have been amended, merged and even extended.
People travelling to the airport can still take the 16 bus, but instead of number 9, which from June 1 ends in Cents, they can hop on the 29.
RGTR buses
As for non-city buses which stop at city bus stations (the RGTR network), the networks will also be subject to changes.
Once RGTR buses reach the capital, they will become city buses.
This change applies to all RGTR routes except for lines 172, 215 and 222, which will retain their route numbers when they pass through the capital.
Eurobus routes will also undergo some changes as will cross-border buses.
In all cases, bus timetables will change.
