Luxemburger Wort announces its stance on referendum questions
"Yes" to the right of foreigners to vote, "no" to the voting age being lowered to 16 and "no" to limitation of Ministers mandates.

"Yes" to the right of foreigners to vote,
"no" to the voting age being lowered to 16 and "no" to limitation
of ministers mandates. These are the official positions of the Luxemburger Wort
for the three questions that Luxembourgers will be asked during the referendum on June 7.
The positions will be detailed in the print edition of Luxemburger Wort on Saturday, through a series of articles by our journalists on the politics newsdesk.
In the meantime Editor in chief of Luxemburger Wort, Jean-Lou Siweck in a video
interview commented, "We have taken a positive position for the right of
foreigners to vote, and negative for the other two questions."
He continued by stating, “As journalists, we deal with these
issues all day long. It can therefore be interesting for our readers to know
what conclusions we draw from the debate in recent months."

In total 244,382 Luxembourgers are registered on the
electoral lists and therefore will participate in the referendum on June 7 with
the results expected at about 6pm.
