A car finished its journey in the early hours of Sunday morning by crashing head-on into a large concrete flower container located on the pavement by the side of the road on the bridge Jean-Pierre Buchler in Luxembourg City.
The car, approaching from the City's main train station, began overtaking several other vehicles before scraping another car causing the driver to lose control, skid across the road, hit the bridge wall and finally crashing head-on into a concrete flower container on the pavement located on the bridge to Bonnevoie
According to police, there is a "strong suspicion" of excessive alcohol and/or drug use.
The two occupants of the car, initially trapped and injured, were later taken to hospital for a check-up.
