Couple in shock & dog killed in Petange house fire
A couple escaped with shock from a raging fire in their Petange terraced house on Sunday night however their pet dog was killed in the blaze that caused major damage.

A couple escaped with shock from a raging fire in their Petange terraced house on Sunday night, however their pet dog was killed in the blaze that caused major damage.
The incident occurred at about 9pm and firefighters rushed to the scene and began tackling the fire in a race against time to stop the blaze from spreading to adjoining houses.
Using special breathing equipment, the fire department was able to enter the building from both the front and back and managed to quickly contain the blaze.
Two pets were in the home at the time of the fire and while a cat was rescued by emergency services, a dog was found dead.
The homeowner and his wife both suffering from shock, were taken to hospital for a complete examination.
Just how the fire was sparked is either unknown or has not been reported.
