Luxembourg ranks third in employee satisfaction survey
In terms of employee satisfaction, Luxembourg ranks third with 80 percent satisfied workers, after the Netherlands and Belgium.

According to a survey done by SD Worx, a human resource services provider, Luxembourg ranks third in many categories with 80 per cent satisfied workers.
SD Worx asked 5,500 workers in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria and the United Kingdom about their jobs in general, their job security, promotion opportunities and loyalty to their employer.
In terms of employee satisfaction, Luxembourg ranks third with 80 per cent satisfied workers, after the Netherlands (87,8 per cent) and Belgium (86,4 per cent).
When asked to what extent they thought their work was useful and if their work corresponds with their knowledge and skills, 70 per cent of the workers in all countries, apart from Austria, had very positive responds.
Luxembourg workers are not very worried about their job security

Almost 79 per cent of workers in Luxembourg are comfortable with their job security. Ranking third again, after Belgium and the Netherlands with over 80 per cent of workers who feel comfortable with their job security. In Austria less than six out of ten employees claimed to benefit from job security.
“Today's optimism is part of the strong economic situation,” says Anne-Lise Demortier, HR Business Partner at SD Worx. Although she does think that the optimism is surprising considering the growth of digitalisation and robotisation. Despite this, most workers are not worried about their jobs in the future, being threatened by technology.
Opportunities to evolve could be better
Most of the workers questioned were only moderately satisfied with the development opportunities that they have within their jobs. Apart from the Netherlands, where 72 per cent of workers show sufficient opportunities for development, the other countries score around 60 per cent or below. Luxembourg coming third with 59,3 per cent of their workers claiming to have good development opportunities and last on the list, France with only 50,1 per cent.
Loyalty is strong in Luxembourg
Seven out of ten Luxembourg workers consider themselves to be loyal to their employer and the organization that they work for.
