(CS/T.L.) Just ahead of an open weekend at hardware store Printz, it has been announced that the company has been bought by the Hoffmanns group and will close its doors in the near future.
The hardware store in 2010 celebrated 150 years since its foundation in Luxembourg. Currently employing 12 people the company will begin liquidation soon, with the shop in Cloche d'Or.
Printz SA will cease its activities on November 3. All employees will be able to transfer to Hoffmann SA and continue working in the same sector, a statement published Wednesday said.
Under the new owners the store will be converted, with the Hoffmanns group also operating Bâtiself, BATI C, Citabel, as well as Hoffmanns Alzingen and Mersch. However, it has not been confirmed what the space will be used for.
