Gramegna and Padoan meet to discuss EU economic situation

Luxembourg's Finance Minister, Pierre Gramegna, met with his Italian counterpart, Pier Carlo Padoan, on Friday to discuss the economic and financial situation of the European Union.
The two ministers spoke about the strengthening of cooperation within the eurozone and the way forward
for the further development of the economic and monetary union.
Another topic on the agenda during the meeting which took place in Rome was the reform of the EU's budget.
Over recent weeks Gramegna has met with a number of ministers, including German Finance Minister
Wolfgang
Schäuble and Minister of Finance for France
Bruno Le Maire, to discuss
current European developments and possible ways forward for the future of the economic and monetary union.
