Knights, jugglers, musketeers, falconers, flag bearers and oriental dancers will be entertaining the crowds until August 6.
Vianden castle opened its doors on Saturday to one of the biggest medieval festivals in the region.
The event takes place until Sunday, August 6, and organisers are expecting around 30,000 visitors.
