Language limitations in Luxembourg
In her second Wednesday Word column, Miami University exchange student Victoria learns that English isn’t as common as she thought in Luxembourg and tries various ways to get around the language barrier.

I speak English and I’m almost completely fluent in Spanish. Although Spanish is a beautiful language, it really doesn’t come in handy in a country where the primary languages are French, German, Luxembourgish, Portuguese, and a little English.
