Police were called to investigate two incidents of suspicious objects found in the capital on Thursday, both of which turned out to be false alarms.

Police were called to investigate two incidents of suspicious objects found in the capital on Thursday, both of which turned out to be false alarms.

According to a statement from Luxembourg Police, the first concerned a metal bar left in a trolley outside the Auchan supermarket in Kirchberg and noticed at around 12.30pm. Two witnesses notified police who responded quickly, cordonning off the immediate area so they could investigate.
