An important Luxembourg fencing tournament took place on Saturday, attended by one of the sport's biggest fans and previous competitors, Grand Duke Jean.
(ADW) An important Luxembourg fencing tournament took place on Saturday, attended by one of the sport's biggest fans and previous competitors, Grand Duke Jean.
The “Challenge Dr. Emile Gretsch” event took over the Coque sports hall, a tournament close to the heart of Grand Duke Jean as Emile Gretch was not only an old fencing competitor, but also a good friend and had helped as the "attending physician" at the Grand Ducal Court with the birth to the five children of Grand Duke Jean and Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte.
