You only get one chance to make a good first impression. When we consider what is the most important communication tool, the most direct and accessible to everyone, studies concur that how we look accounts for 55 percent, paraverbal communication (voice intonation, gestures and posture) accounts for 38 percent and verbal 7 percent. In other words, 93 percent of what we communicate to others is visual.
