(CS) Luxembourg's Ministry of Equal Opportunities on Tuesday launched a strategy paper proposing 11 steps to improve gender equality in Luxembourg, together with a campaign urging men and women to work together for equality.
Research by the ministry shows that Luxembourg's women are still underrepresented in political and economic decision-making bodies. While 55.6 percent of university graduates in the Grand Duchy are women, and over 64 percent of women aged 20 to 64 are part of the workforce, they account for just 11 percent on the boards of directors of stock-exchange listed companies.
