(ADW) It will be in mid-October when the government is due to announce their savings measures in detail, taking into account the major loss of revenue from e-commerce from January 1,2015 following a Europe-wide ruling. This means that alternatives need to be sought to compensate a figure of around one billion euros annually.
In an interview with RTL, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel stated, "stability and sound public finances are our trademarks. If we lose this 'brand', numerous banks and insurance companies in Luxembourg will turn their backs.”
