Police are appealing to amateur radio enthusiasts for help in their investigation into a jewellery shop robbery in Dudelange.
On the evening of September 5, three masked thieves broke into the home of a jewellery shop employee and held her and another person for several hours.
They stole her car, a blue Peugeot 306, then broke into the jewellery shop where the woman worked and stole valuable stock items.
The robbers then fled the scene with their victim's vehicle.
Because the perpetrators used hand-held radios to communicate between themselves, police are appealing to radio enthusiasts to find out if they heard any of the exchange that night.
Furthermore, if anyone saw the stolen vehicle with number plate MN228/L on the night in question, police would like to hear from them.
All relevant observations can be reported by calling 113 or 4997 6237.
