Nestlé biscuit recalled because of contamination

There has been a recall of the Nestlé Cerelac product 'Céréale biscuitée pour panades de fruits' after the Luxembourg food safety authorities were informed the product is contaminated by Polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

A Nestlé Cerelac product, 'Céréale biscuitée pour panades de fruits', has been recalled after the Luxembourg food safety authorities were informed it is contaminated by Polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

PAHs are a group of chemicals that are formed by incomplete combustion. Food can become contaminated via the environment or during the process of cooking.
