Luxembourg association hires gynaecologists for programme in Africa
The four gynaecologists will travel to Ethiopia as part of a €5 million programme to care for girls and women subjected to Female Genital Mutilation.

Fondation Espoir, a
foundation under the aegis of Fondation de Luxembourg, has
hired four new gynaecologists to care for girls and women
subjected to Female Genital Mutilation or Cutting (
FGM/C) in rural areas
of Ethiopia.
The four Ethiopian
gynaecologists will be relocated to Afar and Somali and join two
other gynaecologists who are already there working on a €5
million programme, which is financed by Fondation Espoir.
