Solidarity and a union closer to its citizens is the way forward, MPs say

The main messages that parliamentarians had for the public was that solidarity is key to keeping the EU going, making the EU closer to its citizens is a top priority and that less EU was definitely not the way forward.

During a debate at the Chambre des Députés, that stretched long into Wednesday evening, MPs discussed the future of the European Union and the eurozone.
