EU can 'go whistle' for Brexit bill: UK's Johnson

Britain faces an estimated €100-billion exit bill.

(AFP) British foreign minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday that the European Union could "go whistle" for the money they expect Britain to pay when withdrawing from the bloc.

"I think that the sums that I have seen that they propose to demand from this country seem to me to be extortionate and I think 'to go whistle' is an entirely appropriate expression," Johnson told parliament.
