GayMat festival comes to an end this weekend with the Luxembourg pride march
The GayMat festival has become popular also outside the local LGBT community, according to the festival's organisers, who write on their website that they want to expand the festival to "fight against all forms of discrimination in a spirit of colourful coexistence."
Luxembourg's Pride March is on Saturday July 8. It brings to a close the 18th GayMat festival in Esch/Alzette, in the south of the Grand-Duchy.
The festival first took place in 1999 and has turned into a celebration of gay rights that includes art exhibitions, music, and more.
