Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel highlighted the importance of mobility and cooperation across the European Union for young people and described the Erasmus programme -- aimed at opening up foreign study within the bloc -- as a gateway to understanding differences.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Erasmus, Bettel joined the European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Carlos Moedas, on Thursday to encourage youths to take part in the scheme.
