Pay for your fuel in Luxembourg through a mobile app

The app will switch the phone on automatically as it enters a compatible petrol station and allows the driver to pay without queueing or using a credit card.

Paying for fuel at a petrol station in Luxembourg could be possible from a mobile app before the end of this year.

New technology, created by a team of four people behind Luxembourg start-up CarPay-Diem, means drivers will no longer have to carry a credit card or wait to complete a transaction at certain petrol stations.
