OCSiAl spends 100 million euros on new Luxembourg production plant

Minister Étienne Schneider announced on Wednesday that OCSiAl, a firm of Russian origin, is due to set up a new production facility in Differdange to produce single wall carbon nanotubes.

(M.G) Minister Étienne Schneider announced on Wednesday that OCSiAl, a firm of Russian origin, is due to set up a new production facility in Differdange to produce single wall carbon nanotubes.

These tubes are used in various products like tyres, plastic or PVC. OCSiAl, present in Luxembourg since 2012, is the first company to produce single wall carbon nanotubes on an industrial scale and therefore lower prices significantly.
