(ADW) More than 300 renowned horse riders from Pakistan hoof it to take part in an annual event that has become a 'mane' attraction, organised to promote recreational activities for Islamabad residents, the International Horse-riding Festival.
Ali Malik Meharban one of the event participants stated, “the atmosphere in our country is one of terrorism, inflation and other matters. The people are tense, their lives are paralysed so these kind of events which are taking place or scheduled to take place in Islamabad or all around the Pakistan bring a wave of happiness among the people and people become happy from such events."
The event is a traditional one and takes place every year in Islamabad. Ali believes similar event should take place all over the country, “people are happy with such events, people do like these kinds of events; children and families come to watch."
