€5,000 jewellery theft at Luxembourg City Christmas market

An incident of theft valuing a total of about 5000 euros from the Luxembourg City Christmas market was reported to have occurred between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.

(ADW) An incident of theft valuing a total of about 5000 euros from the Luxembourg City Christmas market was reported to have occurred between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.

According to police reports, thieves broke into one of the chalets located on Place de Constitution below the Gëlle Fra statue, and stole boxes of silver jewellery and chains destined to be sold on the stall.
