(CS/DS) Nearly one year after taking its seat on the UN Security Council, Luxembourg has been able to make its mark on international current affairs, said Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn and Luxembourg's UN representative Sylvie Lucas at a press conference on Monday.
“Our efforts have been worth it,” said Lucas, explaining that Luxembourg has been able to get involved on several dossiers. For example, together with Australia, the Grand Duchy drew up a statement calling on Syria for improved access for humanitarian organisations to help people trapped in the conflict.
