Luxembourg police launched a large-scale operation last week after being warned of an escalating war between Nigerian gangs in the area of the capital's central train station.

(CS) Luxembourg police launched a large-scale operation last week after being warned of an escalating war between Nigerian gangs in the area of the capital's central train station.

On the evening of December 10 police received four calls about violent brawls in Rue de Strasbourg and Rue de Hollerich within one hour. When police arrived the suspects had already disappeared and people at the scene said they had not seen anything.
