(CS) Two masked men robbed a grocery store in Colmar-Berg in the early hours of Monday morning, stealing several cartons of cigarettes after finding the cash register empty.
The incident occurred around 4.50am on Monday morning in Avenue Gordon Smith in Colmar-Berg, located between Ettelbrück and Mersch in central Luxembourg.
According to police the men broke the lock of a door to access the building where they threatened an older woman to hand over the store's money. However, with no money in the cash register yet for the day, the man grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and fled the scene on foot.
One man was wearing a scarf wrapped around his head, but the witness said he could have grey hair underneath. The second suspect was described as somewhat taller than the first, wearing yellow shoes and blue jeans, with his face also hidden.
