(CS) Only 39 percent of voters in the Luxembourg general elections spoke out in favour of extending the right to vote to non-nationals in a December survey, a result significantly below a similar poll carried out before the October elections.
In a September 2013 Politmonitor survey, 52 percent of Luxembourg nationals of voting age had said that they are in favour of extending voting rights. However, within the space of just three months, this rate has dropped by 13 percent.
