Luxembourg set to abolish EU elections residency clause
Luxembourg's parliament is set to vote on a bill outlining new guidelines for the European Parliament elections, to be held in the Grand Duchy in May or June next year.

(CS/mig) Luxembourg's parliament is set to vote on a bill outlining new guidelines for the European Parliament elections, to be held in the Grand Duchy in May or June next year.
Until now, citizens from other EU countries were required to live in Luxembourg for at least two years before being able to vote in the elections for the EU's parliament.
