(CS) Luxembourg's LSAP will elect a new president next March, after current president Alex Bodry has decided to focus on his tasks as the head of the party's group in parliament.
Bodry made the announcement on his Facebook page on Monday.
The politician will also withdraw from his post as vice-president of the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM), as well as his post at ProSud, a syndicate dedicated to the development of Luxembourg's southern region.
However, Bodry will continue in his office as mayor of Dudelange.
The LSAP currently holds 13 seats in parliament, as well as six out of 15 ministerial posts and one of three state secretariats.
