(CS) Former Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker has shot down speculation that he might run for the office of Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
The CSV politician said to newspaper “Le Quotidien” that he would not run for the post, which is currently held by former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland. Applications for the position closed on Sunday, December 15.
