(CS) The south Luxembourg branch of environmental group Mouvement Écologique has demanded action to curb emissions at the ArcelorMittal steel plant in Belval, saying that it permanently exceeds pollution limits.
Between 2009 and 2011, the plant had received special permission by the Sustainable Development Ministry to burn old tyres in its furnaces in Belval. A committee was installed to monitor the situation.
