Certain dietary supplements have been withdrawn from sale in Luxembourg because of contamination by a dangerous antibacterial agent.
Certain dietary supplements have been withdrawn from sale in Luxembourg because of contamination by a dangerous antibacterial agent.
The products affected are Enzynutrics, Similase, Similase Total and Gastiplex, certain batches of which were found to contain chloramphenicol, an agent which can cause among other things, severe and irreversible aplastic anemia when ingested by humans.
