(CS/DL) All of Luxembourg's water treatment plants should be conform to EU regulation by 2017, Interior Minister Jean-Marie Halsdorf announced after the Grand Duchy was slapped with a two million euro fine by the European Court of Justice.
Luxembourg was fined by the ECJ after failing to bring all its sewage plants up to date, despite a 2006 verdict saying that 12 plants did not comply with an EU directive in regards to the denitrification of water.
