(CS) Three members of Luxembourg's “Protection Civile” returned from the Philippines, where they helped install an emergency communications network, on Saturday morning.
“When we arrived there weren't many aid organisations on site,” Serge Wagener recalled his arrival in Tacloban. “One street had just been cleared – from the airport into town,” he said. Other streets and roads had simply disappeared, buried under a mountain of rubble and debris. “And in between there were still corpses,” Wagener said.
