Presidential welcome for Grand Ducal couple in Turkey

After landing in Ankara on Monday night, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess visited the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, where they were welcomed by President Abdullah Gül and his wife.

(MSS) After landing in Ankara on Monday night, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess visited the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, where they were welcomed by President Abdullah Gül and his wife.

Before the meeting, the Grand Ducal couple attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Anıtkabir mausoleum in honour of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first President of the Republic of Turkey.
