(CS) Luxembourg's rail service CFL has delayed a decision to appoint a successor to outdoing general director Alex Kremer until mid-December.
A member of the board of directors commented that CFL wants to await the official installation of the new government before making a final decision.
In the meantime, LSAP politician and former Transport Minister Lucien Lux, who was pitted as a potential candidate for the post, has commented to RTL that he is not interested in the job.
Lux was not re-elected to parliament in the October elections. However, rumour has it that he being considered for a position on the state council or the post of lux-Airport director.
With Lux not in the running for the CFL post, this could leave the way open for deputy general director Marc Wengler to take over the reins.
