Attempted manslaughter suspect to be extradited to Luxembourg
A suspect accused of attempted manslaughter, after he ran over a customs officer in Luxembourg in a hit and run in October, is to be extradited to the Grand Duchy.

(CS) A suspect accused of attempted manslaughter, after he ran over a customs officer in Luxembourg in a hit and run in October, is to be extradited to the Grand Duchy.
According to media reports Jérémy L. agreed to extradition at a court in Nancy, France, on Thursday.
The suspect is expected to be brought to Luxembourg in the next ten days to be presented to a judge.
In the night between October 17 and 18, the suspect ran over a customs officer in his car when he was signalled to stop at the Aire de Capellen.
The officer suffered life-threatening injuries but survived the incident.
CCTV footage from a nearby petrol station showed Jérémy L. with another suspect, who was apprehended by police shortly after the incident.
Earlier this week, Jérémy L. turned himself in to French authorities. According to media reports, the 26-year-old suspect already served a two-year jail sentence for assault and robbery.
