(ADW) After a 45-minute meeting together on Thursday morning, Xavier Bettel and Jean-Claude Juncker both stated that their discussions had been constructive and pleasant.
A series of administrative issues were addressed during the meeting and both came to the decision that the new parliament would convene for the first time on November 13.
This is the date that government party MPs will be sworn in, with CSV MPs moving into the opposition sworn in at a later date.
Coalition talks continue at 2pm on Thursday, when the DP, the LSAP and Déi Gréng will meet for a debrief session, expected to last until about 6pm.
After a break of four days, meetings will then resume on Tuesday, November 5.
Tuesday and Wednesday had marked the first two days of official coalition talks, when delegates from the prospective coalition parties were briefed on state finances by the country's fiscal and tax administrations.
