English language play “Late, a cowboy song” returns to Luxembourg for a second run, this time with performances at the Kulturhaus Niederanven.
The play, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Linda Bonvini, explores the narrow-minded world of childhood sweethearts, Mary and Crick, as it is turned upside-down by the arrival of Red, an independent, solitary woman who knows no boundaries.
Featuring Jenny Beacraft, Claire Thill and Jules Werner, the play explores gender identities and challenges traditional wife and mother roles.
It was last performed at the Théâtre National de Luxembourg in October 2012.
This year's run includes a special school performance on November 8 at 10am for students aged 13 and over. Public performances will be held at 8pm on November 9 and at 5pm on November 10.
Tickets cost 15/10 euros for the public session and 4 euros for the school performance.
